Why Fathers Matter

Research shows, and common sense tells us, that fathers are essential to the healthy development of their children. When fathers are involved in the lives of their children, those kids are much more likely to be open, receptive and trusting in their relationships with other people.

Children without fathers active in their lives are much more likely to have psychiatric problems, difficulties with the law, substance abuse problems, as well as struggles at school and in their social lives.

We understand the crucial role of fathers in their kids' lives. We also recognize that there exists in some courts a bias against fathers in family law disputes such as divorce, child custody and child support. Because we understand the bias, we have an admirable record of success in countering it on behalf of our clients.
